About CrikeyCon

CrikeyCon is a community-led conference targeting those with an interest in information security around South East Queensland and beyond.

The informal style of the event is designed to facilitate knowledge sharing between all participants. CrikeyCon consists of presentations and demonstrations by industry professionals, security wizards, and enthusiasts alike.

CrikeyCon is run on a costs recovery basis, with surplus funds donated to worthy registered charities in the greater Brisbane area.

CrikeyCon training comes in two flavours: paid and free! For each training session, we will be giving away a number of free spots!

Why would you pay for training when you could get it for free? Well, primarily, those that pay their own way are helping those who cannot afford to pay. If you are making money, or your company is paying for you to be at the conference, you can afford to pay! The training at CrikeyCon is very cheap when compared to similar training elsewhere. Also, paying for a spot guarantees you a position in the training. Consider paying for training to help out the community.
